FOR THE ATHLETE.

WHAT to expect.

Athletes who sign up for AthleteMade should expect to be understood, you are talking to ex-athletes who, not long ago, were walking in your shoes. There is no cost to the athlete. Our main goal is to help you, regardless if that leads to us working together and placing you in tech, or not.

STEP ONE — INTRODUCTION

When we start working together, we seek to understand more about who you are as a person, where have you been, where you are today and where do you want to go.

STEP TWO — EDUCATION

From there we begin the education process, and provide:

• Insight into why tech companies typically like to hire athletes and why athletes excel in the role

Career Education: Typical career progression, timelines and realistic earning potentials

SDR Role: Deep dive into the SDR role so you understand what’s required, the challenges, and what it takes to succeed

Industry Education: Pro’s and Con’s of various types of tech companies you may be applying for

STEP THREE — INTERVIEW

If we mutually agree software sales could be a good fit for you, we discuss and prepare for a standard interview process and will record a sample interview to be sent out to our partners for hiring consideration.

STEP FOUR — HIRING & MENTORSHIP

We won't stop working together until you are hired. We will then continue the mentorship, networking, and career coaching during your time as a BDR and help with future placement into AE positions.
